New Holland Capital (New Holland), an alternative investment manager overseeing more than $6bn in discretionary absolute return strategies for institutional clients, has appointed Stephan Brohme as the firm’s Chief Risk Officer.
Brohme will be responsible for leading and overseeing risk management across the firm, including the Tactical Alpha Strategy.
Brohme has nearly two decades of experience managing risk functions and developing robust risk frameworks for global asset management firms. Most recently, he served as US Head of Risk at Brevan Howard where he supported various investment strategies, including macro, rates, relative value and equity volatility. Before that, he served as Director, Risk Manager at Capstone Investment Advisors and Chief Risk Officer of QFR Capital Management.
Brohme holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Hamburg.
