Perpetuals.com licenses AI platform aimed at hedge fund and trading applications

Related Topics

Perpetuals.com Ltd has signed a services agreement with Younet AI to license an on-premises artificial intelligence system designed for use by hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and digital asset managers, according to a report by Investing.com.

The agreement covers deployment of an AI platform, branded Forgentiq.ai, which is intended to run within client infrastructure rather than in external cloud environments. This setup allows financial institutions to apply machine learning tools directly to proprietary trading data while retaining full data control internally.

The system is designed around autonomous AI agents capable of performing a range of investment-related functions, including market correlation analysis, regulatory document review, arbitrage identification, and portfolio risk modelling. It also uses retrieval-augmented generation techniques and is designed to operate independently of public AI services.

Under the agreement, Perpetuals.com holds an exclusive global licence to commercialise the platform within financial services and digital asset markets. The company plans to first deploy the technology internally using its own trading and market microstructure datasets before expanding access to external clients through a subscription-based model.

Management said the system is intended to support alpha generation by enabling more advanced analysis of trading data and market behaviour within a secure environment.

The firm, which has a relatively small market capitalisation and operates across trading and digital asset infrastructure, has recently been expanding its product suite, including additional services focused on regulatory compliance and market infrastructure capabilities.

Alongside the AI initiative, the company has also been developing other technology offerings aimed at financial institutions, including cybersecurity-related tools and expanded trading venue functionality following recent regulatory approvals.
