Singapore-based quantitative investment manager Goku Technologies has selected SS&C Technologies to provide fund administration services as it expands its AI-driven systematic trading business across Asian equity markets.
Goku Technologies, which has offices in Singapore and Shanghai and manages approximately $4bn in assets, has appointed SS&C GlobeOp to administer its Goku Technologies Master Fund.
The fund operates a high-volume systematic trading strategy with significant daily trading activity, creating substantial demands on its middle- and back-office infrastructure.
SS&C GlobeOp will provide fund accounting and investor services as part of a broader administration offering designed to give Goku a scalable operating platform as the manager grows.
Ken Chung, CEO of Singapore Goku Technologies, said the firm’s expansion had increased the demands placed on its trading and operational systems.
Goku uses systematic trading strategies to invest across Asian equity markets, combining artificial intelligence, technology and quantitative research to generate risk-adjusted returns.
