Schonfeld Strategic Advisors has hired Lorenzo Longo as a portfolio manager, adding the experienced Delta One trader as the multi-strategy hedge fund firm continues to expand its investment team, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The report cites unnamed people familiar with the matter and revealing that Longo is joining Schonfeld’s Delta One trading operation after more than two years at Millennium Management-backed investment firm Kedalion Capital Management.
He previously spent more than a decade at Goldman Sachs, giving him extensive experience across institutional trading before moving into the hedge fund industry.
Longo will report to Riccardo Riboldi, Schonfeld’s global head of emerging markets and Delta One, according to the people. Riboldi joined the firm in 2023 after a career at Goldman Sachs.
Schonfeld declined to comment on the appointment, while Kedalion and Longo did not respond to requests for comment.
Delta One trading covers products designed to closely replicate the performance of an underlying asset, with instruments including exchange-traded funds, futures, forwards and swaps.
