Thomas DeBow has left his role as Chief Technology Officer at Alphadyne Capital Management, the global macro and fixed-income relative-value hedge fund founded by ex-Goldman Sachs Partner Philippe Khuong-Huu, to join multi-strategy firm Schonfeld Strategic Advisors.
According to his LinkedIn profile, DeBow has been appointed as CTO at Schonfeld, having spent the past six years in that position at Alphadyne.
Prior to Alphadyne, DeBow served as CTO at Graham Capital Management, where he oversaw growth of the firm’s tech team from 10 employees to over 60.
Schonfeld’s fundamental equity fund and strategic partners fund are up 5.9% and 6.2% respectively this year up to the end of March, although the firm is still facing headwinds and is yet to raise the additional $3bn it has been targeting since last year to establish a drawdown fund.
