Standard Chartered has partnered with Seviora Capital to launch a new multi-manager hedge fund vehicle – Select Seviora Titans Absolute Return fund – under its Variable Capital Company (VCC) platform, according to a report byFinTech News.
The fund will allocate capital across multiple hedge fund managers and strategies selected by Seviora, part of the Temasek-owned group, aiming to reduce concentration risk and improve diversification.
The vehicle provides access to capacity-constrained hedge funds at lower minimum investment levels than direct allocations and targets steadier absolute returns in volatile markets. It will initially be offered to Accredited and Professional Investors through Standard Chartered Private Banking in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Jersey, with broader distribution planned in phases.
Sumeet Bhambri, Global Head of Advisory and Managed Investments at Standard Chartered, highlighted that the fund enhances the bank’s VCC suite and reflects its commitment to innovation in wealth management. Leow Li-Vern, Managing Director at Seviora Capital, noted the strategy’s potential to improve risk-adjusted returns through low-correlation hedge fund exposure.
This launch marks Standard Chartered’s seventh sub-fund under its VCC structure and the second fund introduction of 2026.
