Crypto-focused hedge fund Temple Capital has bolstered its senior ranks with a trio of high-profile hires from Brevan Howard, BlueCrest and Hilbert Capital, as it positions itself to capture growing institutional interest in digital asset strategies, according to a report by CoinDesk.

Guy Griffiths, a 19-year veteran of Brevan Howard, has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer, bringing extensive experience in operational finance at one of the world’s largest macro hedge funds.

Richard Murray, former CEO of crypto asset manager Hilbert Capital and a previous executive at Brevan Howard, joins as Partner, reinforcing Temple’s leadership bench with a mix of traditional hedge fund and digital asset expertise.

The firm has also appointed Cristian-Teodor Tudor, formerly Lead Quant Developer at BlueCrest Capital, as a Quant Researcher to deepen its research and systematic trading capabilities.

The appointments come as Temple Capital looks to scale its $120m digital assets platform, backed by marquee investors including Bain Capital and Pantera Capital. The firm’s multi-strategy approach targets institutional allocators seeking exposure to liquid crypto markets through a hedge fund structure.
