Swedish hedge fund firm Tidan Capital has added Linus Nilsson as partner and head of systematic strategies, as of 1 July.
In his new role, Nilsson will lead the Asterion Program, a short-term systematic macro strategy expected to launch in Q3 2024.
Prior to joining Tidan, Nilsson was Senior Portfolio Manager at APG, a subsidiary of Stichting Pensioenfonds, the largest pension fund in the Netherlands.
Prior to APG, he was fund manager and CIO at a European systematic hedge fund, where he implemented trading strategies and oversaw investment activities; head of risk management at a hedge fund seeding platform; senior hedge fund analyst at Man Investments; risk manager and analyst at Norges Bank Investment Management; and investment analyst at a Swedish CTA fund of funds manager.
