TMX Group has acquired Verity, a US-based provider of investment research management and data intelligence solutions, in a move that strengthens its global data offering through its existing TMX Datalinx service.
The deal adds Verity’s research management system (VerityRMS) and data platform (VerityData) to the TMX Datalinx suite, bolstering its ability to deliver investment-grade data, analytics, and workflow tools to clients across equities, fixed income, and private assets.
In a press statment, TMX Datalinx, which serves more than 5,000 clients worldwide, said it plans to advance the AI-driven capabilities of both VerityRMS and VerityData.
