Transaction Network Services (TNS) has significantly expanded its market data and connectivity footprint by adding direct access to six key equities and derivatives exchanges across Latin America, amid rising demand for streamlined access to emerging markets.
The newly integrated exchanges include Mexico’s BMV and MexDer, Argentina’s BYMA, Chile’s Santiago Stock Exchange, Peru’s Bolsa de Valores de Lima (BVL), and Colombia’s Bolsa de Valores de Colombia (BVC). This strategic expansion complements TNS’ existing connectivity to Brazil’s B3 exchange and positions the firm as a comprehensive access provider across the Latin American region.
The initiative enables US-based hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and data vendors to receive market data from these exchanges via TNS’ low-latency, private network, without the need to manage or deploy local infrastructure. For the Chile, Peru, and Colombia markets, TNS is utilising the newly established nuam exchange access point in Santiago, offering consolidated connectivity via a single link.
The build-out is supported by a partnership with Avelacom, a global low-latency network provider. Under the collaboration, TNS will manage the connectivity layer and delivery into US trading hubs, while Avelacom supplies physical presence and circuits across the region.
TNS’ global infrastructure includes over 5,000 financial endpoints and 125 points of presence, delivering a full suite of IaaS solutions including connectivity, colocation, cloud, VPN, and its vendor-agnostic Market Data Services platform. The network is actively monitored 24/7 from global service centres in the US, UK, Australia, and Malaysia.
