Tudor Investment Corporation has recruited Conor Taggart for a data strategy role as hedge funds and proprietary trading firms continue to seek data specialists who can turn alternative information into investable insights, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
Taggart’s new role is understood to place him at the centre of the hedge fund’s efforts to identify and develop datasets that can support investment decisions.
Tudor reportedly declined to comment on the appointment.
Taggart joins from alternative data specialist Eagle Alpha and previously worked at Millennium, reflecting the growing movement of professionals with data expertise between hedge funds, specialist providers and trading firms.
