Specialist investment manager Polar Capital Holdings has hired Michael Hufton to assist Robert Gurner and Andrew Marsh in the management of the Polar Capital European Conviction Fund and the Polar Capital European Forager Fund.
 

Hufton was most recently employed at Sloane Robinson LLP as a European Fund Manager. Prior to joining Sloane Robinson in 2008, he was a partner of Bruce Nelson Capital LLP. Hufton started his career in 1995 at Cazenove & Co in London, and was made a partner of the firm in 2001. He graduated from the University of Durham with a degree in French and Spanish in 1995.
