Alternative asset management firm Hayfin Capital Management has expanded its client coverage capabilities in German-speaking Europe with the appointment of Marco Sedlmayr as head of DACH within the partner solutions team based in Munich.
Alternative asset management firm Hayfin Capital Management has expanded its client coverage capabilities in German-speaking Europe with the appointment of Marco Sedlmayr as head of DACH within the partner solutions team based in Munich.
Sedlmayr joins Hayfin from Golding Capital Partners, where he spent five years as managing director and head of institutional clients in Germany and Austria. Prior to this, he worked at Allianz Global Investors as practice leader in the DACH region within the Insurance Business Development EMEA Group. Before this role, Sedlmayr was a senior business development manager at Crédit Agricole Group and JP Morgan.
Founded in 2009, Hayfin Capital Management which has over €29 billion in assets under management, focuses on private debt and liquid credit investments vis direct loans to primarily European middle-market companies, and special opportunities, where it invests flexibly in a range of opportunities across industries, markets and sub-strategies in situations where financing may be scarce.
