Ossiam, a Paris-based investment management firm specialising in quantitative strategies, has launched the Ossiam Multi Fixed Income Opportunities Fund (MFIO), which aims to provide market-neutral, flexible exposure to fixed income investments.
MFIO, domiciled in Ireland, operates as a UCITS vehicle with daily liquidity, and focuses on generating absolute returns through a diversified portfolio of relative value strategies across interest rates, foreign exchange, and credit markets, all while maintaining a strict duration-neutral mandate.
In a press statement, Luc Dumontier, Ossiam’s Head of Investments and Operations, said: “Constructing a robust portfolio in today’s rapidly changing market requires a new approach. With its duration-neutral mandate and focus on diversification, MFIO offers a compelling solution for investors seeking stable returns.”
The fund’s strategies aim to deliver returns with volatility comparable to traditional fixed income indices, ensuring a balance between risk and reward. Each individual strategy is assessed for its potential to enhance portfolio diversification and risk management before inclusion.
Ossiam’s broader product suite includes index replication, enhanced beta strategies, and liquid alternatives, such as long-short equity and fixed income solutions.
