The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator, which represents redemption notices received from investors in hedge funds administered by SS&C GlobeOp, measured 3.64% for December 2023, up from 3.49% in November.
“SS&C GlobeOp’s Forward Redemption Indicator for December 2023 was 3.64%. This figure was lower than the 10-year average of 4.73% for the period as investors refined their forecasts and adjusted their strategic asset allocations for the upcoming year,” said Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies.
“The prevailing environment of higher inflation, higher interest rates, and elevated volatility is conducive for hedge fund performance and indicates hedge fund asset retention should remain strong.”
