Markets gave back some more of their recent gains on Friday
Mon, 24/07/2006 - 06:00
The lack of an early settlement to the Middle East crisis made investors more cautious once more. Wall Street finished Fridays session down around 55 points whilst Nasdaq finished lower for the 3rd week in a row. The FTSE finished down 51.2 points but was above 5700 on the week. In Asia we have seen modest losses with the Nikkei off around 27 points. The Early call for London is up around 5 points.
