RBC Wealth Management hires head of investments for British Isles

RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada, has hired Tracy Maeter as head of investments, British Isles.

Maeter will be based in London and will be responsible for oversight of RBC Wealth Management’s discretionary and advisory investments platforms in the British Isles.

Maeter joins RBC from HSBC in London, where she was head of investors. During her five-year tenure there, she also held the positions of team head, sales management and team head, high net worth.

Maeter has also held positions at JP Morgan and a number of consulting firms.

Paul Patterson, head of RBC Wealth Management, British Isles, says: “The appointment of a head of investments to our British Isles operation will strengthen our investments platform, which forms part of our integrated wealth management offering for high net worth and ultra high net worth clients. Tracy will work closely with our relationship managers ensuring that clients receive competitive and sound investment advice. She will also be responsible for the continual development of our UK onshore investments platform, which was established last year when RBC Wealth Management’s UK domestic business was launched.”
