Campbell & Company has expanded its executive management team by appointing Stephen Roussin as President of the firm.

Roussin joins Campbell & Company following a successful career in New York, most recently as Managing Director and Head of Investment Solutions for UBS Wealth Management Americas and as President & Chief Operating Officer for New York Life Investment Management, LLC.

While Terri Becks continues in her role as Chief Executive Officer, Roussin is expected to assist with the day-to-day management of the firm, supported by the firm’s Executive Committee.

Roussin brings 25 years of management experience to Campbell and will continue the firm’s commitment to building a world-class management team to lead Campbell’s growth over the next decade.

Becks says: “Campbell has nearly 40 years of experience in systematic alternative investment management, and we look forward to another 40 years of success.  We are building the next generation of management to enhance our position as an institutional-quality investment management firm, and Steve is a great addition to this team.  We are excited by his experience, his energy, his enthusiasm and his knowledge of the investment business.  We are confident that he will contribute to all aspects of our business, while preserving and building the strong, team-based culture that has been so important to our success and stability.”

Founded in 1972, Campbell & Company is a pioneer in absolute return investment management, specialising in systematic managed futures, global macro and equity market-neutral strategies. Recognised as an innovator in quantitative modelling, Campbell’s strategies exploit structural inefficiencies in global financial, commodity, and equity markets, and have delivered attractive risk-adjusted returns over time.  Campbell and its affiliates manage approximately USD3bn for a broad array of institutional and private clients around the world.
