CFTC designates trueEX as a contract market

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has approved the application of trueEX for designation as a contract market.
trueEX is organised as a Delaware limited liability company and is a wholly owned subsidiary of trueEX Group.
trueEX has indicated that initially it intends to list for trading interest rate swap contracts. It will be the first designated contract market to do so as permitted under the Dodd-Frank Act.
Clearing services for trueEX will be provided by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Swap data repository services will be provided by DTCC Data Repository. Regulatory services for trueEX will be performed by the National Futures Association.
