Convergex names Frederick Arnold as CFO

Convergex, an agency-focused brokerage and trading related services provider, has appointed Frederick Arnold as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Arnold will oversee all of Convergex’s global financial operations and will serve on the firm’s Executive Committee, responsible for providing organisational guidance and governance.
 
For more than thirty years, Arnold has held CFO and financial leadership positions at major global financial services and manufacturing firms. He currently serves as a director of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and Corporate Capital Trust.

He brings additional depth to the firm and will be instrumental in helping the global expansion of Convergex's offering."
 
From 2009 to 2011, Arnold served as executive vice president and CFO of Capmark Financial Group (formerly GMAC Commercial Mortgage), and from 2006 to 2007, he oversaw the global finance functions of Masonite International as the firm’s executive vice president for finance. From 2000 to 2004, Arnold held senior financial positions at Willis Group Holdings, a global insurance broker based in London. An expert in global capital markets, he has two decades of investment banking experience, including positions at Arnhold & S Bleichroeder, Smith Barney and Lehman Brothers.
 
Arnold received a BA in economics from Amherst College, an MA in jurisprudence from Oxford University, and a JD from Yale Law School.
 
Arnold will be based in New York at Convergex’s worldwide headquarters.
