SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc has announced that the SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator for May 2021 measured 2.46 per cent, down from 2.07 per cent in April.
“SS&C GlobeOp’s Forward Redemption Indicator of 2.46 per cent for May 2021 represents a reduction in redemption notices compared to the 4.00 per cent reported a year ago,” says Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. “The 2.46 per cent reported for the indicator marks the eleventh consecutive month of year-over-year reduction in hedge fund redemptions, as well as the lowest level of redemptions for any month of May since the Forward Redemption Indicator’s inception in 2006.
“Record low redemption levels and favourable investment performance are creating strong hedge fund asset growth.”
