Russell AbramsFounder and Senior Portfolio ManagerRussell Abrams is Titan Capital Group’s founder and Senior Portfolio Manager. Russell has extensive experience managing options portfolios as well as trading both index and single stock options in a variety of markets. Prior to forming Titan, Russell was co-head of US Equity Derivative Trading and Convertible Arbitrage at Merrill Lynch from 1997-2000. Russell spent the previous five years working for Bank Paribas and then CS First Boston where he gained significant experience trading derivatives in multiple markets. During 1992 and 1993, Russell worked with Fischer Black researching derivative strategies at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. EducationRussell graduated from Boston University in 1988 with a degree in Computer Science and received his MBA in Finance in 1993 from New York University Stern School of Business. |
John BarbaroSenior TraderJoined 2005Mr. Barbaro is a Senior Trader and joined Titan in November of 2005. He began his career in 1999 as an Associate on the customer option desk of CIBC World Markets. In 2003 he moved to Capstone Holdings where he was Co-Portfolio Manager for the US Equity Volatility portfolio. He has extensive experience trading a variety of equity volatility strategies, including relative value and dispersion. He is also well experienced in trading electronically, having served as an electronic market-maker for two years. His wide range of volatility trading experience utilizing different types of strategies gives him the ability to identify, execute and implement different types of trades across a variety of assets as opportunities arise. EducationMr. Barbaro graduated with a BBA in Finance from Hofstra University in 1999, and an MBA from Fordham Business School in 2004. |
Robert RossTraderJoined 2005Robert Ross is a Trader at Titan. Mr. Ross joined Titan Capital Group in October of 2005. He has eight years experience trading and making markets in equity options on the International Securities Exchange, the largest fully electronic US options exchange. Mr. Ross’s expertise with electronic trading and risk management systems allowed him to manage portfolios of options on over 100 US equities. His knowledge and expertise in computer systems and option modeling allow him to analyze current and potential trades to maximize profit while mitigating risk. EducationMr. Ross graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of New Brunswick, and an MBA from McMaster University, in Canada. |
Steve SkalickyChief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance OfficerJoined 2007Steve Skalicky is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Skalicky joined Titan Capital Group in September of 2007. Prior to joining Titan Capital Group, Mr. Skalicky spent the previous four years at AIG's Global Investment Group in US Equities. Most recently, he was a Portfolio Manager, responsible for both investment management and overseeing the operations for several Quantitative Model Strategies, including an Equity Income portfolio, a Long / Short REIT portfolio, and a European Research Enhanced portfolio. In addition to actively managing these products, he was involved in taking conceptual investment ideas from senior management and devising practical implementation from the blackboard to completion. Many of these ongoing quantitative strategies are still utilized by the firm. While at AIG, Mr. Skalicky served in a Trading and Research Analyst role before his promotion to Portfolio Manager, where his responsibilities included operational management. Prior to AIG, he was at UBS, where he supported the OTC Equity Derivatives Trading Desk. EducationMr. Skalicky received a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. |
