Titan Capital Group has appointed Lucy Pesa to its institutional marketing team as vice president and James Novotny has joined to manage the accounting and control functions.
“The addition of these two respected professionals to our team enhances Titan’s institutional and operational capabilities as the firm expands,” says Keith Danko, partner at Titan Capital.
Pesa joins Titan from CQS, an alternative investment management firm, where she was a senior executive in the investor relations group. She has also worked previously in investor relations as a vice president at Advent Capital Management and for more than a decade as a director of Lord Abbett’s institutional marketing team.
At Titan, Pesa will be responsible for managing the firm’s business development efforts with consultants and pension funds in North America. She will report to Danko, who recently joined Titan following three years as chief executive of US operations at CQS.
Novotny joins Titan from Rothstein Kass, an accounting, auditing and tax specialist, where he managed the audit process for more than a dozen hedge funds and funds of funds. Novotny will be responsible for managing Titan’s accounting and control functions. He will report to Titan chief operating officer Steve Skalicky.
Pesa and Novotny will both be based in Titan’s New York office.
