Natixis Asset Management has announced the launch of a new quant fund which will invest in global equities reported Citywire Global this week. Entitled the Natixis Min Variance Monde, it provides investors with access to global equities while aiming to reduce the portfolio’s overall volatility over a five-year investment period. Nicolas Just will manage the new fund. Just, who has over 15 years’ investment experience, also manages the firm’s other ‘minimum variance’ fund which focuses on European equities: the Natixis Min Variance Europe fund launched in September 2010 and has returned 0.37 per cent over the last 12 months according to Trustnet Offshore figures.
