Forsyth Partners has appointed Andy Brunner, the
former head of asset allocation and global investment strategy at Aberdeen
Asset Managers, as the Company's first Chief Investment Strategist.
Mr Brunner, who took up his appointment on Monday 14 April, will join a senior
investment strategy team that includes Peter Toogood, Managing Director
Investments & Research, Rossen Djounov (Joint Managing Director Research &
Investments), independent economic adviser Andrew Hunt and technical analyst
The arrival of Mr Brunner will result in some changes within the Forsyth
investment team, with Mr Djounov focusing on the rapidly growing alternative
investment portfolios. Responsibility for the long-only investment mandates and
other managed funds will pass to Forsyth's 18-strong team of advisers and
Mr Brunner's prime areas of responsibility will include the development and
refinement of Forsyth's asset allocation and risk control models in both the long-
only and alternative arenas. He will also contribute to the investment
management and research sides of the business.
Mr Brunner's role will see him work across the range of Forsyth's investment
funds, including third party funds and broker funds. He will also have a strong
input to new business development initiatives, particularly in the UK.
