Related Topics

eVestment, a specialist in institutional investment data and analytics, has named Maria Simon as vice president of client success for the company’s Nordic region, Germany and Austria. She will be based in eVestment parent company Nasdaq’s Copenhagen office at Nikolaj Plads 6.

This new position marks eVestment’s expansion of operations in its fast-growing northern European region, previously led from eVestment’s London office. In this position, Simon will be responsible for leading regional business development, client relationship management and data collection efforts in the region.

“I’m excited to take on the challenge of growing eVestment’s business and working with our clients in northern Europe,” says Simon. “Our growth in the region has been strong and the time was right to build on our commitment to our clients and our business development efforts here. I’m looking forward to traveling around the region to personally meet our clients and expand eVestment’s local institutional network in each country.”

Prior to this position, Simon led global marketing efforts for eVestment’s asset manager and investor segments and served as a project lead on eVestment’s ESG data collection and reporting project. Prior to joining eVestment, Simon held client relationship positions with LocalTapiola Asset Management and Altfest Personal Wealth Management.

She holds an MBA and BBA from Pace University in New York. In addition to English, she speaks Swedish and Finnish.

Among her first high-profile engagements in her new position, Simon will be presenting at Fund Forum International in Copenhagen in June. She’ll also be staffing the eVestment FundForum booth and sharing with conference attendees how eVestment can help institutional investment professionals better understand market trends and have better outcomes for their work, including sharing the findings from eVestment’s new State of Institutional Separate Accounts Fees report.

The report provides a comprehensive overview of fee structures across the traditional strategy landscape globally and compares stated fees from thousands of asset managers reporting to eVestment covering more than 8,000 separate accounts with actual negotiated fees charged on mandates awarded with data sourced from eVestment Market Lens.
