Brooklands Fund Management Limited, a London-based regulatory platform for growing fund managers, has been authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland to act as the investment manager for Irish authorised investment funds.

The recent authorisation by the Central Bank of Ireland enables Brooklands to manage AIFs established in Ireland. The Irish AIF industry is home to over EUR1 trillion in assets with over 2,200 AIFs. Over 40 per cent of global hedge fund assets are administered in Ireland.

Brooklands is authorised by the FCA as a full scope AIFM with MiFID top-up permissions, in addition to being registered by the SEC in the US as an investment adviser. Brooklands offers newly established asset managers a platform to launch an independent fund by handling all relevant regulatory authorisations and ongoing compliance monitoring, in addition to providing operational, portfolio management and risk management support.
