Skolem Technologies (Skolem), an institutional-grade asset management and execution services providing investor access to DeFi markets, has appointed Jonathan Tamblyn as chief people officer.
In this newly created role, Skolem says Tamblyn will build out the technical and corporate functions and introduce programmes to scale the organisation to help institutions participate directly in DeFi markets without having to substantially increase technical headcount and portfolio risk.
Tamblyn has nearly 15 years of experience in talent development and acquisition and most recently served ash of talent for Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange launched by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss. At Gemini, Tamblyn led the company’s talent acquisition team and implemented a recruiting capability that grew the team from 70 employees to 1000 employees in four years. Additionally, he helped launch various HR programmes including Gemini’s first performance, compensation, and diversity strategies.
