John Cryan, who has served as a director of Man Group since January 2015 and as chair of the board since January 2020, is to step down towards the end of this year, with Anne Wade, who has served on the board as a non-executive director since April 2020, to succeed him as chair.
On assuming her new role, Wade will step down from her position as chair of the Remuneration Committee but will remain a committee member, and will also assume the role of chair of the Nomination Committee. Man Group says it intends to announce the appointment of a new Remuneration Committee Chair in due course, who will replace Wade.
In addition, Dame Katharine Barker, who has served on the Board since April 2017, will step down as a non-executive director of the Company and as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Remuneration Committee on 1 April 2023.
