Multi-strategy hedge fund Millennium has added several portfolio managers in Singapore just five months after moving to new larger premises in the city state last October, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
The new arrivals include Kenneth Maples who joined the firm in Singapore after nearly eight years at Virtu Financial. He most recently served as head of trading for APAC but then spent 11 months seeing out a non-compete contract clause before joining Millennium.
Wissam Mezrani meanwhile, made his Millennium move after four and a half years as head of quant market making at Citi, while Ravish Kumar joined after a brief spell at Singapore-based hedge fund Two Ridges Capital, and Anass Hammedi joined after a year and a half at Hong Kong based 1020 Capital Management.
