“SS&C GlobeOp’s Capital Movement Index rose 0.12% in August 2022, indicating positive net flows into funds. However, on a comparative basis, this increase was smaller than the 0.55% gain reported a year ago,” says Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. “The rate of capital flows into hedge funds has been trending upward for the past several years but has flattened somewhat in recent months in the current economic environment of higher inflation and interest rates.”
