Cryptocurrency hedge fund Pantera Capital has lost another senior executive with news that chief financial officer Ryan Davis is leaving then business, according to a report by ConiDesk.
The report cites an unnamed source as revealing that Matt Gorham, a Pantera strategic adviser with ties to the 19-year-old company dating back to its pre-crypto days, will fill in for him during the search for a permanent replacement. Davis is remaining with Pantera during a temporary transition period.
Davis’ departure follows the exit of Chief Technical Officer Terence Schofield, Chief Operating Officer Samir Shah and several other other employees.
Pantera’s assets under management reportedly stand at nearly $5 billion.
