Sean George, a portfolio manager at Millennium Capital Partners, is leaving the $50 billion multi-strategy hedge fund firm firm to return to his sell-side roots having first begun his finance industry career in banking with firms including UBS, Bank of American Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank.
Sean George, a portfolio manager at Millennium Capital Partners, is leaving the $50 billion multi-strategy hedge fund firm firm to return to his sell-side roots having first begun his finance industry career in banking with firms including UBS, Bank of American Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank.
According to his LinkedIn profile, George, who first made the switch to the buy-side in 2017 as a senior portfolio manager with Stockholm-based hedge fund Granit Fonder in 2016, is leaving Grace Court Capital – a division of Millennium – after two years, to embark on “an exciting new journey with another industry giant – this time on the sellside”.
Prior to joining Millennium, George spent almost four years as CIO of Stockholm-based Strivo after it acquired Granit Fonder.
