Clear Street launches corporate access offering

Related Topics

Clear Street, a New York-based diversified financial services firm founded in 2018, has added a corporate access offering as part of its services across prime brokerage, sales, trading and investment banking.

According to a press release, this latest expansion will provide both corporates and investors with “a value-added service by facilitating interactions between management teams and investors to drive buy-side engagement, positively impact investment decision-making, and ultimately enhance shareholder value”.

The accompanying team will provide comprehensive investor engagement throughout a company’s life cycle, aligning with a corporate’s requirements and management style and providing qualitative feedback.

In a statement, Andrew Volz, COO and Head of Sales at Clear Street, described the company’s offering as “markedly differentiated from the increasingly commoditised practice of corporate access over the last decade”.

“It aims to return to the boutique consultancy service model, and we’re excited to provide our clients with the access they may struggle to obtain via our competitors.”

This follows a series of business expansions at the firm, including the launch of investment banking last June, prime brokerage services for fixed-income products in December and the acquisition of a cloud-native futures clearing platform last July, with plans to launch a futures clearing broker.
