Duff & Phelps, has launch new cybersecurity services that assist financial services companies in identifying and reducing cybersecurity risk.
With Duff & Phelps’ enhanced service offering, the firm is now unique in its ability to manage cybersecurity risk at every stage of preparedness: identifying vulnerabilities and readiness through a comprehensive gap analysis; implementing best practices to avoid compromise; and recovering from cybersecurity attacks.
The firm’s cybersecurity efforts are led by Managing Directors Jason Elmer and Brian Lozada, who joined Duff & Phelps’ Compliance and Regulatory Consulting practice last month.
“Cybersecurity failures represent a tangible threat to a firm’s value,” says Julian Korek, Compliance and Regulatory Consulting practice leader. “Investors are increasingly focused on cybersecurity preparedness, and global regulators have communicated that cybersecurity will be an examination priority in the year ahead. In helping the financial services industry face cybersecurity challenges, we leverage our proven compliance and regulatory consulting, valuation, and dispute and investigation capabilities.”
Elmer possesses more than fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently serving as Partner and Global Director of Business Development at one of the largest private cloud providers to the hedge fund and private equity marketplace. Lozada previously served as Chief Information Security Officer for the same private cloud provider. He has also held several global security leadership roles within multiple Fortune 500 organisations.
