After deciding to shutter Singapore-based equity l/s hedge fund, Amoeba Capital Partners last October, ex-Morgan Stanley managing director Ashutosh Sinha is rejoining the US banking giant, reported AsianInvestor this week. Still based in Singapore, Sinha is set to become a managing director and senior portfolio manager on the global emerging markets equity team at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Sinha will report to head of global emerging markets equity, Ruchir Sharma. Having worked non-stop for 15 years managing portfolios, Sinha told Reuters at the time that he was shutting down the fund because he needed a break. He is due to commence his new role in early April.
