Owen Coughlan, the former Head of Euro Swaps Trading at NatWest Markets has returned to the banking fold with Barclays in Paris after a brief foray into hedge funds, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
Coughlan, who left NatWest after 13-and-a-half years in February 2022 has taken up the role of Euro Rates Trader at Barclays, moving from Brevan Howard, which he joined last March after a brief stint at Eisler Capital.
According to the report, while at Brevan Howard, Coughlan was part of a now dissolved, London-based pod headed by former Goldman Sachs Partner Kostas Pantazopoulos.
