HedgeOp Compliance, LLC, a provider of consulting services for private fund advisers and specialised compliance software for a wide array of investment advisers, has expanded its footprint in the US market with the opening of a San Francisco office.
The expansion to the West Coast is part of a strategic initiative by HedgeOp Compliance, which is head quartered in New York with offices in Boston, to serve the private fund adviser community in the region. Part of this initiative will expand HedgeOp’s services to the private equity community. The firm now has offices in the major hubs for alternative advisers on both coasts.
“There is a tremendous amount of demand for our services in the Bay Area, particularly from private equity managers now required to register with the SEC,” says William Mulligan, Managing Partner and CEO of HedgeOp Compliance. “We have brought together a highly experienced and professional team to offer compliance and registration assistance as well as other compliance infrastructure support to advisers in the area.”
Mulligan is personally working from the San Francisco over the short-term to ensure the successful launch and establishment of a HedgeOp Compliance presence. He expects to be on site each month over the next couple of years. The office has three full-time staff members and it is expected to increase to five over the coming months.
