Hedge fund Hudson Bay Capital Management is set to lose two senior Dubai-based executives, husband-and-wife trading team Chiara and Antoine Chabanne, who are joining Dymon Asia Capital, according to a report by Bloomberg citing unnamed sources familiar with the move.
The duo will start at Dymon in the coming months.
Chiara Chabanne was Hudson Bay’s first portfolio manager in Dubai when the office opened in 2023 and also served as senior executive officer, helping the firm expand into Abu Dhabi late last year. Hudson Bay, based in Greenwich, manages around $20bn, while Singapore-headquartered Dymon oversees approximately $6bn.
Both firms reportedly declined to comment.
