Douglas Borden, a former Goldman Sachs Managing Director, has left quantitative trading firm Hudson River Trading to move back into the banking sector with JPMorgan, having spent recent years at hedge funds and high-frequency trading (HFT) firms, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.

Borden, who most recently served as Head of Client Market Making at Hudson River, has also worked at Two Sigma and HFT business KCG Holdings since leaving Goldman in 2009.

As a Managing Director at JPMorgan, Borden joins the firm’s growing New York-based electronic equities trading team, as part of a push by the bank to win business from hedge funds.
