Pirum, a provider of securities finance automation and connectivity solutions, has appointed Richard Marquis as its Director of Sales for North America.
Marquis will be based in Pirum’s New York office and has previously led securities finance trading teams and developed technology solutions in agency lending, prime brokerage and principal borrowing.
He joins Pirum from MUFG Securities, where he oversaw a securities finance regulatory project for 10c-1a compliance.
He also previously served as the Head of Borrow DIRECT at BNY; as Head of International Equity Hedge Fund Demand at JP Morgan; and as Executive Director of International Equity Prime Brokerage at UBS.
