Brevan Howard Asset Management has added Tekmerion Capital Management’s macro hedge fund to its platform, with Tekmerion’s systematic macro team set to manage both its own capital and money for other Brevan Howard funds, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The report cites people familiar with the deal as confirming that Tekmerion Co-Founders Zachary Squire and Reed Morrissey are joining Brevan Howard along with Partner Jay Dweck and Operations Director Eric Gelsinger. As well as running the BH-Tekmerion Fund, they will also manage money for Brevan Howard’s master and alpha strategies.
Squire, Tekmerion’s CIO, who previously worked at Bridgewater Associates along with Morrissey and Dweck, has managed a commodity trading adviser fund for Brevan Howard since December 2022, which is expected to close when they join next month.
