Thu, 26/06/2003 - 08:20
Jeff Thompson, who previously managed the Coronation European long/short fund, is moving to London-based Thames River Capital.
Thompson will join Thames River on 1 August and will report to Tony Zucker, who manages the Kingsway Fund, a long/short European fund.
The Kingsway Fund, which was launched in March 1999, currently has Euros 463.1 million in assets under management. Thompson will contribute to the analysis and management of stocks within the fund.
Tony Zucker said: "We've been wanting to make a number of hires for a while but it is difficult to find the combination of calibre and team fit. Jeff brings a lot of skill and will settle into our style of management very well."
