Old Mutual Asset Managers (UK) strengthens Asia Pacific team
Philip Hunter has joined Old Mutual Asset Managers (UK) as a senior investment analyst working with the Old Mutual Asia Pacific Equity Fund investment team.
Hunter has over 10 years' experience as an analyst and a fund manager and has worked at OMAM for over three years, covering global equities. His research responsibilities will cover the Korean market and Japanese financials. Les Jones and Simon Weston, the fund's managers are now supported by a team of three analysts.
Leslie Jones, joint manager of the fund, said: "I'm delighted to have Philip on board. He has considerable experience as an analyst and a fund manager and he provides us with specialist expertise and experience. He's a valuable addition to the team."
The Old Mutual Asia Pacific Equity Fund was launched in May 2004 and has USD 51.6 million of assets under management (as at 31 March 2005).
