Darcy Browne has joined the fixed income, currencies and distribution team at CIBC World Markets as managing director for foreign exchange institutional sales.

He has 19 years' experience in capital markets and was most recently head of North American institutional foreign exchange sales at RBC Capital Markets.

According to the company, Browne's record in growing revenue and profit, and his success in developing cross-selling and marketing strategies will be central to its foreign exchange institutional sales efforts. He reports to Eric Bélanger, managing director for financial solutions.
