Royal Bank of Scotland has launched 2,000 Turbos on NYSE Euronext in Paris, bringing the market total to 4,300.

These Turbos are already listed on NYSE Euronext in Amsterdam.

The Turbos introduced by RBS offer investors an increase in the choice of available strategies through exposure to a broad range of underlying assets: 31 French equities, 105 foreign equities, 44 indices, 24 commodities, ten currencies and seven bonds.

“RBS is proud to offer this comprehensive range of over 2,000 Turbos to French investors through NYSE Euronext, rounding out the French market with new scope for leveraged investment,” says Ludwig Lewicki, marketer public distribution, France equity derivatives and structured retail for RBS. “The range reflects RBS’s long experience in derivatives and represents the culmination of development since their invention in 2001.”

“We welcome this historic launch on NYSE Euronext in Paris of 2,000 Turbos distributed by RBS,” adds Lisa Dallmer, chief operating officer of European cash markets and execution services for NYSE Euronext. “The issue confirms the momentum and appeal of this segment, where a total of 4,300 Turbos are now listed on NYSE Euronext’s regulated market in Paris.”

RBS Turbos let investors benefit from leveraged exposure to trends in underlying assets without the constraints of a predetermined maturity date or excessive sensitivity to volatility. Due to their simple structure, their pricing is more readily accessible for investors.
