Richard Boerke Jr joins Price Futures Group

The PRICE Futures Group has appointed Richard Boerke, Jr as Institutional Sales Executive in the firm’s business development team.  

The PRICE Futures Group, founded in 1988 by Walter T Price III and a division of Price Holdings Inc, an employee-owned financial services firm, is adding business development expertise to outpace the needs of its institutional clientele.

Boerke has an extensive background in the futures industry.  He is familiar with all aspects of the business including specific expertise in managed futures, money management, commodities hedging, risk management and in consulting with institutional clients. 

“Rick possesses formidable expertise in futures and commodities,” says Ron Mark, Director of Risk & Business Development at PRICE Futures Group.  “We held off hiring until we found someone with his qualifications, and we anticipate that he will make a significant contribution to our institutional trading and brokerage division.”

Most recently, Boerke was consultant at Boerke Consulting & Investments, providing consulting services within the Hedge Fund/Fund of Funds and CTA industry.

Prior to that, Boerke was Managing Director at Prudential Bache Commodities & Jefferies Bache Commodities, where he contributed to an increase in net profitability of the Chicago office by an average of 50% annually during his tenure.

Previously, Boerke held senior management roles at Refco, Inc, Summit Management, Inc., TradePipe, Inc., and Lehman Brothers, Inc. /Barclays Capital.
