Perella Weinberg Partners (PWP) has formed a strategic advisory board which will provide the firm’s management team with strategic advice on key industry and business-related matters.

The seven initial members of the Advisory Board are: Walter Isaacson, Aspen Institute President and CEO; Jorma Ollila, former Royal Dutch Shell Chairman; Robert Pozen, former Fidelity Investments Vice Chairman; Ivan Seidenberg, former Verizon Communications Inc. Chairman and CEO; Jane Sherburne, former Senior Executive Vice President and General Counsel for BNY Mellon; Daniel Yergin, IHS Vice Chairman; and Robert K Steel, PWP CEO.

“As we approach the next ten years of the firm’s growth, we are focused on providing our clients the trusted advice and services that have been the hallmark of our firm,” says Joseph Perella, Chairman of Perella Weinberg Partners. “This distinguished group of business leaders will further enhance the firm’s ability to deliver value to our clients across all of our businesses. We are excited to embark on this next chapter in tandem with our Advisory Board, our founding investors, partners, and employees.”

“We believe the opportunity in front of us is even greater today than when the firm was first imagined,” says Steel (pictured). “As Perella Weinberg Partners enters its next phase of growth, there are enormous benefits in having a small group of experienced, external leaders to help us think strategically about the future of the firm. Our Advisory Board members possess deep knowledge, expertise and insight. They will provide valuable, added perspective as we map the future direction of the firm.”

This Board will replace and expand the firm’s previous Advisory Council, which was formed eight years ago.
