Peak Ridge Capital has appointed Daniel J Greene as a partner.
Greene will be primarily responsible for assisting Peak Ridge Capital in the continuing expansion of its alternative investments platform.
Greene has more than a decade of investment experience across the pension and financial sectors. In his most recent role as the chief executive officer of the City of Boston Retirement Board, Greene was responsible for both the administration of member benefits and the oversight of the USD5bn investment portfolio.
Prior to the CEO role, Greene spent eight years as the deputy executive officer and investment manager for the City of Boston Retirement Board, responsible for all investment manager relationships, the development and implementation of the portfolio allocation and strategic plan, and the drafting, review, and negotiation of all investment management agreements.
Greene began his career as an attorney with the Boston Redevelopment Authority, responsible for legal agreements related to land use and real estate finance and redevelopment in the City of Boston.
Greene will be a key driver in the introduction of the Peak Ridge Capital investment platform to a greater investor base. The current Peak Ridge Capital investment offerings include: the Peak Ridge AgTech equity and debt funds that focus on financing innovation in agriculture, clean technologies and biofuels; the Peak Ridge Energy Fund that structures unique energy investments and global growth opportunities; and the Peak Ridge Multi-Family Fund that targets multi-family properties with high growth opportunities that have the potential to achieve strong returns at low risk.
