Vanguard Capital appoints new CTO
High growth algorithmic trading company, Vanguard Capital AG, has appointed Ritabrata Bhattacharyya (Rito) to its Senior Management team.
Bhattacharyya brings with him 15 years of experiences as a professional quantitative trader, investment strategist and technologist. Having consulted leading global hedge funds in quantitative modelling and delta-neutral alpha-generation techniques, Bhattacharyya will play a key role in furthering the company’s vision to raise a new standard in trading financial markets using high growth algorithmic trading strategies and strong risk management.
Having earned a Master’s degree in Engineering and Computational Biology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Bhattacharyya went on to co-found TrueRisk Labs, a start-up that applies machine learning and artificial intelligence to predict the market direction, as well as Blowfish Technologies, a company pushing the usage of blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies in finance.
Bhattacharyya continues to be a long-standing member of Mensa and holds multiple software patents and journal publications in diverse fields – from computational biology to customer experience management.

Officially launched in July 2018, Vanguard Capital AG is fast-becoming one of the sector’s leading algorithmic trading firms. The company recently announce the acquisition of a UK FCA regulated investment firm, in a step to advance its group structure.
Vanguard Capital Group Limited will sit alongside the Chicago Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulation, National Futures Association (NFA) membership and membership to the UK’s Alternative Investment Managers Association (AIMA). This dynamic advancement comes as the investment sector continues to develop industry regulations and will propel Vanguard Capital to a new level.
